  1. Drones are not permitted to fly above 400ft from the surface.

  2. You are not allowed to pilot your drone within 150m of a congested or built up area (small towns and cities).

  3. No drone flight can take place within 50m of people, property or any type of vehicles that are not under your control

  4. The drone should be kept within a 500m radius away from the operator

  5. There should be no people within 30m of the take-off and landing zone besides the drone pilot or people under the pilot's control.

  6. Strictly no flight within 1km of the boundary of an aerodrome without permission

  7. No drones weighing 7kg or more are allowed to fly in a controlled airspace without permission

  8. Never fly unless the flight conditions are safe. You must be satisfied with the conditions and check the weather frequently throughout the day.

  9. Always ensure that the drones controls are working correctly before each and every flight. This includes after short breaks to change the battery.

  10. Only look at the screen operating the controls to frame a shot or to look at the battery. eyes should be on the drone or scanning for incursions by aircraft 99% of the time.
